"Dirigible" is a general term for airships.  The word's original meaning,
"steerable" (from the same Latin root as "direction"), makes a distinction
from balloons, which go wherever the wind takes them.

A blimp is a non-rigid airship (or dirigible).  Its shape is maintained
solely by gas pressure.

Zeppelins are rigid--they have an internal framework.

Smoothing ON for blimps, OFF for zeppelins.
